Trails, falls, and summer time hikes...

We started the summer out trying to visit a new hiking spot every weekend. Since this is our last summer here in Washington, we are taking advantage of all the views with some amazing family time with one another. This also happens to be the ONLY summer Michael has been home and not out at sea with a ship since we've been stationed here!

...or MAJOR baseball games!!! We live on the diamond some where in Snohomish County....lots of clothing layers, sunflower seeds and hot chocolate as bribery..okay, so a few nice sunny days in the mix! These are just a few shots through out the month....

Another Girl Scout camping weekend

We loveeeee Girl Scouts. Maybe not so crazy about Washington state but it's amazing how active the Girl Scout community is around here. There are so many new and different experiences in the area that we may never have the chance to do in Celeste's Girl Scouting years...so we're grateful for that. This trip took us to Camp Robbinswold in Lilliwaup, down on the Hood Canal.

What a gorgeous view to wake up to. It was so quiet and calm that morning...I enjoyed the peace God granted me....BEFORE all the girls got up!
